TRAINING for a better life together
It’s all about connection. We help you see the world from your dog’s perspective, and give you clear strategies to set your dog and yourself up for success.
A career built on those dogs who needed more than a method.
For over 20 years, Lauren has trained dogs of every kind — family pets, service dogs, therapy dogs, and search-and-rescue dogs. She's worked with hundreds of families and partners closely with vets, groomers, and physical therapists to help dogs thrive.
There's no patented system here and no magic bullet. Just a deep toolbox of methods, refined over decades, and a genuine curiosity about every dog that walks through the door. Each individual is different. Each relationship is unique. That's the part of the work she still wakes up excited for.
When you and your dog aren't speaking the same language.
Some clients come before problems start — a new puppy, a clean slate, a foundation built right from the beginning. Others arrive after months of trying things that haven't worked, wondering where it went sideways.
Either way, the work is the same: helping you and your dog understand each other.
When that understanding is missing, stress builds on both sides of the leash. Walks feel tense. Life at home feels challenging. You avoid certain situations. And day-to-day life with your dog isn’t all that you dreamt it would be.
The frustration isn't from a lack of effort or love. It's about not having a shared language yet — and not knowing how to build one.
Once you see things from their point of view, everything starts to make sense.
Training starts with observation — not obedience.
Before we talk about commands or corrections, we’ll first figure out what your dog is actually telling you, and what they need to hear back. Once you can see things from their point of view, the rest makes more sense.
From there, the approach is collaborative and practical. Methods are tailored to the dog in front of us, grounded in behavioral science, and designed for real life. The goal is to always meet your dog’s needs as well as your own.
We won't promise a perfect dog or instant results. What we'll promise is honesty about what's realistic, clarity about what progress looks like, and a training partnership where your questions are taken seriously and your dog is treated as an individual with potential.
